So just finished watching M. Night's "Lady of the Water" approx 2+ hrs ago. Movie totally rox!! The scrunt reminded me of "the Grim" from the HPPOA flick (Yr 3, that is, of Harry Potter).
Love how M. Night places himself in his movies and adds that subtle touch of humor that really isn't so subtle after all, now is it. (Yes, meant that as rhetorical.) Also love his touch of red in his movies....Now if I can just get my hand on a copy of "The Village" and "Shatter" all will be well.
Also rereading Miss Invisible by Laura Jensen Walker. Love the book. It's right on, ya know. Esp when she sets the pic straight w/ a comment from the "skinny but invisible chick" too. It'd be nice if I could meet my Hal....'cept maybe his name is actually....d'ah, you didn't actually believe I'd type his name, did ya? Esp after I already let slip a pretty major clue as to who he is...Yeah no. Don't think so. 'Sides, God's time, not mine.

Just a quick "Hey"
So I had been wanting to do a blog for some time now but time just doesn't seem to permit it. (Blast man-made concepts!!)
Basically, this is my refuge to rant, rave, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera....We get the picture. This is a free speech forum. (Duhbiously.) You want to know what make my space any different than any others?? Well, so do I.
I'm your average girl, woman, chica, senorita looking to make a decent living and, horror above horrors!! I think I'm beginning to learn that "love" is more than just a 4 letter word! No, there's no one "special" in my life--yet. Yes, I learned that it's okay to have hope. Yes, I met someone who (joshingly) is referred to as my "kindred spirit" but, admittedly, I'd like to see where God takes it and what will evolve from our week-long meeting.
I have no set course for this space. Just whatever pops in my head. Quick run-down: I am a Christian, am passionate about all forms of music and defending the poor, weak, abused, need I say more? I run the gambit on free speech and you can expect just about anything to be on here.
Who am I writing to? The lost, lonely, bored....oh, wait! Maybe, I'm just trying to contact the me that was in existence at the age of 19....There's a thought.
Signing off (and don't forget to connect to the "you" that made you who you are today), I remain, Jax. Lola Jax.
